What is CHAMPS? Chesterfield Aquatic League (CAL) Championships is an invitational championship meet program open to all swimmers who achieve a "Qualified" time standard or higher during the regular meet season.  If a swimmer has not achieved a qualifying time (see RULE 5) in any individual event, the swimmer may register to swim in one (1) individual event.  Swimmers also must have swum in at least two league meets to be eligble to compete.  In order to swim a particular event a swimmer must have swum that event at least once during the regular season.  Click HERE for CHAMPS Rules Governing Entries

When is CHAMPS?  Friday, July 29, for all Youth, Mites, Midget events and
Saturday, July 30, for all Juniors, Intermediate and Senior events.

How much does CHAMPS Cost?  The total cost for CHAMPS varies by the number of individual events a swimmer is entered in.  Each individual event is $3.00 per swimmer.  If your swimmer is swimming a 25 back and a 25 free then the cost is $3+$3 = $6.  If your child is swimming in a relay PLEASE NOTE:  Relay costs will be covered by the swim-team.   Total Fees for each family are calculated here

How do I know what my swimmer is swimming?  A pre-entry report will be put together by the Tarrington Swim team.  Note it will not contain Heat lane assignments as they are seeded by the CAL league and will be in the meet program sold day of meet.  Click here for entries

When do swimmers need to be at the pool?
  Warm-ups will begin at 7:45a on Friday and 7:45 am on Saturday. The meet will start at 8:30am both days and is projected to end at approximately 4:30 on Friday and 3:30 on Saturday. The projected timeline is

What do I do if I am a volunteer?  All volunteer positions (except Strokes and Turns and Deck Referees) are for the entire meet. Click here for the Tarrington Tiger Shark Volunteer Schedule.

What is the agenda for each day?  Over 1,100 swimmers registered for the meet swimming over 3,100 races in just over 550 heats. Both days include a 30 minute break for Awards presentations. Regular season winners will be presented during those times as well.
